Terms of service
Last updated: March 18, 2026
These terms govern your use of KALIRA, a cloud-based asset management and Digital Product Passport service operated by PT Safe Horizon Industries (“KALIRA,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1.Service description
KALIRA provides cloud-based software for tracking physical assets, recording inspections, generating compliance certificates, and creating Digital Product Passports. The service is accessed via web browser and works with NFC, QR, and RFID tags for asset identification.
KALIRA is a record-keeping and management tool. It does not perform physical inspections, certify the safety of equipment, or replace the judgment of qualified inspectors or examiners.
2.Account responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information when creating your account and entering asset data.
- Keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share passwords or allow unauthorized access to your account.
- All activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by users you invite to your organization.
- Notifying us at security@kaliratech.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to store illegal content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, its servers, or networks connected to the service.
- Access another organization’s data or attempt to circumvent access controls.
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service beyond what the API allows.
- Resell access to the service without a written partnership agreement.
4.Subscription and billing
KALIRA offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, as selected at checkout. Prices are listed in USD; Indonesian customers may pay in IDR at the displayed conversion rate.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until then. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.
If your plan includes per-asset overage pricing, additional charges are calculated monthly based on the number of active assets exceeding your plan’s base limit. Overage charges are billed with the next billing cycle.
We may adjust pricing with 30 days’ notice by email. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
5.Data ownership
You own your data. Asset records, inspection data, photos, certificates, and any other content you enter into KALIRA remain your property. We do not claim ownership of your content.
You grant KALIRA a limited license to store, process, display, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the service. This license ends when you delete your data or close your account.
You can export your data at any time. On paid plans, data is available for export in CSV, JSON, and PDF formats. After account cancellation, data export is available for 12 months.
6.Intellectual property
KALIRA owns all rights in the software, including its code, design, documentation, and brand assets. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service during the subscription term.
You own the content you create using KALIRA, including inspection reports, certificates, and Digital Product Passports. KALIRA’s logo may appear on certificates generated on free and Starter plans. Professional and higher plans support white-label branding.
7.Uptime and availability
We target 99.9% uptime for the service, measured monthly. This target applies to paid plans. The free tier is provided on a best-effort basis without uptime guarantees.
Planned maintenance windows are communicated at least 24 hours in advance via email and in-app notification. We schedule maintenance during low-usage hours (UTC 14:00-18:00, corresponding to late evening in Southeast Asia).
Uptime excludes scheduled maintenance, force majeure events, and issues caused by third-party services outside our control.
8.Generated documents and safety data
KALIRA provides digital tools for creating, storing, and managing asset records, inspection reports, permits to work, compliance certificates, and other documents (“Generated Documents”). Generated Documents are produced using data entered by authorized users of the subscribing organization (“Customer”).
KALIRA does not:
- assess, verify, or certify the safety condition of any equipment or work environment;
- evaluate the adequacy of hazard controls, risk assessments, or engineering determinations;
- replace the judgment of qualified safety professionals, inspectors, or authorized examiners;
- guarantee that any equipment is safe to operate based on its records;
- provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice.
The presence of KALIRA branding, verification tier badges (“Tracked,” “Inspection Verified,” “DPP Compliant”), or compliance indicators on any document or asset record does not constitute KALIRA’s endorsement, approval, or certification of the safety status of the underlying equipment or product.
Customer acknowledges that:
- all safety determinations, inspections, and authorizations remain Customer’s sole responsibility and that of Customer’s qualified personnel;
- KALIRA’s verification tiers indicate data completeness in the system, not physical safety verification;
- inspection records in KALIRA reflect what users entered, not independent assessments;
- Customer shall maintain their own safety management system and not rely solely on KALIRA for regulatory compliance.
Customer shall indemnify and hold harmless PT Safe Horizon Industries and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from: (a) the contents of Generated Documents; (b) reliance on KALIRA records for safety-critical decisions; (c) failure to maintain adequate safety management procedures independent of KALIRA.
9.Artificial intelligence features
KALIRA includes AI-powered features (“AI Features”) that generate text responses, search results, data summaries, and recommended actions based on Customer’s data.
AI Features are informational tools. They do not provide:
- safety assessments or safety advice;
- legal, regulatory, or compliance advice;
- engineering calculations or structural determinations;
- medical or health recommendations.
AI-generated responses may contain errors. Customer must independently verify any AI-generated information before acting on it, particularly for safety-critical decisions. KALIRA does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated content.
10.Data responsibility
Customer owns all data entered into KALIRA (“Customer Data”). KALIRA processes Customer Data solely to provide the service.
KALIRA implements commercially reasonable security measures (as described on the Security page) to protect Customer Data. No system is completely secure.
In the event of a data breach affecting Customer Data, KALIRA will: (a) notify affected Customers within 72 hours of discovery; (b) provide details of the breach scope and affected data categories; (c) cooperate with Customer’s incident response procedures.
KALIRA’s liability for data breaches is limited to direct damages not exceeding the total fees paid by Customer in the 12 months preceding the breach.
11.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KALIRA’s total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to KALIRA in the 12 months preceding the claim.
KALIRA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
KALIRA is not liable for decisions made based on data or documents generated by the service. Users are responsible for verifying that inspection results, asset conditions, and compliance determinations are accurate before relying on them.
12.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold KALIRA harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13.Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days’ written notice. You can cancel your subscription from the account settings page or by emailing support@kaliratech.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms, engage in activity that threatens the security of the service, or fail to pay outstanding invoices after 30 days.
Upon termination, you may export your data for 12 months. After that period, your data is permanently deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.
14.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising from these terms or the use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (BANI) in Jakarta, conducted in the Indonesian or English language.
15.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or applicable law. Material changes are communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
